Editing Crash

I completely crashed on editing – like, barely breathing kind of editing – and finally finished editing my book! Okay, not FINISHED, finished. But I finished that one big edit when you go through the entire book and fix scenes and do last second research, and all that. Which means, now I just have to implement any feedback my husband gives me, check all the plot and character archs, get rid of weasly words, make sure all five senses are implemented into all the scenes and….oh, yeah, while I’m at it, try to get rid of about 20k more words. Because apparently a debut author isn’t supposed to have a book larger than 90k. But you know, other than that! I’ll be looking for beta readers soon, if anyone wants to volunteer. 😛

My husband is about 3/4 of the way through and is less than delighted because…well, I don’t want to spoil it for you in case you ever read it, but…I’ll just leave you with an informative meme I found online…
