Food for thought

A New Day

Today is a new day. Treat it like one.

Those were the words in my head when I woke up yesterday. And I knew without a doubt they were from God.

Forget the past. Forget the mistakes. Stop thinking about how you failed in your diet again. How you didn’t exercise. What you should have done all those years ago. About where you could be “if only”. Stop thinking you are going to have tomorrow to start over. Stop putting off everything until tomorrow, or Monday, or better yet, the new year.

What about today?

Whether it is morning, halfway through the day, or even evening–it isn’t too late. It’s still a new day. You still have time. Make it count.
