Yesterday was the first day of the ACFW Virginia conference, which I, as part of the board, was helping put on! That means that I was busy from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM. So many workshops, so much learning and instruction! And then, of course, all the cautions about how much work it is to get published and how little money most authors make. It was almost enough to make me quit. Except that then my sister would get ahead of my word count. So, I managed to squeeze in 1,698 words, bringing me to a total yesterday of 7,618.
