I am finally getting back on track, people! I mean, not as on track as I want to be, but 4k words yesterday is still nothing to scoff at, right? Anyway, most of the day yesterday was spent packing (seriously, I thought we got more done the day before – how does packing take so long???) and then we drove two hours to our first stop – a friend’s house in West Virginia where we are dropping Tennyson, since they kindly agreed to watch him while we are gone. Lucky for my word count, if not for me, they had a church engagement from 5 to 9, so I worked on writing most of the time. It was slow going, but I’ll take whatever I can get at this point. And we are officially halfway there! How is your battle with NaNo going?
