Men’s Footwear

- Thin soles
- Low wedge heels
- Silk ribbon laces
- rounded or square toes
- Leather boots
- Stirrups under boots
Women’s Footwear
- Heelless Fine Leather Soles
- Pale-colored calfskin was common
- Low-cut vamps
- Pointed or square toes
- Half boots of kid or corded silk, lacing on inner side
- Possible trimmings included ruched ribbon, long silk ties, jeweled buttons
