NaNoWriMo Day 4 Recap: Slow but Sure

I wrote only a thousand words yesterday. Not even the requisite 1,667. But at least I’d gotten ahead on the other days! Well, the first couple days. So I’m still not technically behind…unless you count being behind my SISTER, who somehow shot up to 10k words today! But you know, considering I was also doing a writers conference all day and after two days of that, I was totally brain dead, I think a thousand words was not terrible. Though, I may have cheated a tiny bit. I decided to start describing what characters looked like. That’s important information, right? And I can incorporate it into the book more seamlessly later as long as I have the information. And I just couldn’t with plot after all the workshops about writing.
