Why, yes – yes, it is indeed that time of year again! Don’t look at me. I didn’t see this coming. The day before, I was like, wait, I have to write over a 1,000 words tomorrow??? But, not only did I succeed in doing so…I wrote 3,000! And that’s probably the last time I’ll be ahead of the game. But who knows. Maybe not!
And what am I writing, you ask? You didn’t? Well, you meant to, I am sure. I am going to attempt a sequel for A Picture of the Past – because -let’s be honest – Elizabeth’s little sister needs a story. And I’m not telling you which one in case that agent gets back to me and says she wants to publish the book because I don’t want to spoil who dies and who doesn’t for you. I know you are looking forward to the drama.
So, yes, I sat down and wrote 1700 words in 45 minutes, having absolutely no idea what I was going to write at first, but, as always, God came through for me and words started pouring out…once I actually got the courage to start typing. And then I moved downstairs, turned on the first Hallmark Christmas Movie of the season, and played my traditional Hallmark Christmas Movie Writing Game – getting another 1300 words in!
Not to worry, I’ll continue to keep you apprised and, as always, share NaNoToon’s incredible cartoons that never fail to entertain me (I really wish they still made them!!)
